Operational Planner
Key Role:
Support the USARPAC concepts division in performing complex administrative work activities in support of senior leaders in the global defense sector and client leaders. Execute independent decisions in established guidelines and ensure appropriate level of discretion while handling highly sensitive and confidential data. Coordinate with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Army Futures Command (AFC), Department of the Army (DA), sister services and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), and subordinate commands. Support deliberate force modernization planning and provide recommendations for inclusion of future technologies. Represent the Concepts Directorate during OPTs, IPRs, AARs, wargames, conferences, and meetings timed to allow for maximum participation across multiple time zones.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience with operations
5+ years of experience with tactical or operational planning at the theater level or in the Joint environment
Experience with running Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups (B2C2WG)
Experience with the Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) or a service equivalent
Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
Experience with using Microsoft Office products
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience with program management in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the Army preferred
Experience with Joint tests and experimentation
Experience with Science and Electronic warfare
Experience with joint targeting cycle and associated network considerations
Experience with Artillery, Infantry, Intelligence, or Special Operations
Knowledge of Army modernization plans and processes and multi-domain operations doctrine
Possession of excellent analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
SAMs Graduate
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
