Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience with operations
  • 5+ years of experience with tactical or operational planning at the theater level or in the Joint environment
  • Experience with running Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups (B2C2WG)
  • Experience with the Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) or a service equivalent
  • Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience with program management in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with the Army preferred
  • Experience with Joint tests and experimentation
  • Experience with Science and Electronic warfare
  • Experience with joint targeting cycle and associated network considerations
  • Experience with Artillery, Infantry, Intelligence, or Special Operations
  • Knowledge of Army modernization plans and processes and multi-domain operations doctrine
  • Possession of excellent analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SAMs Graduate
Responsibilities
  • Support the USARPAC concepts division in performing complex administrative work activities in support of senior leaders in the global defense sector and client leaders.
  • Execute independent decisions in established guidelines and ensure appropriate level of discretion while handling highly sensitive and confidential data.
  • Coordinate with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Army Futures Command (AFC), Department of the Army (DA), sister services and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), and subordinate commands.
  • Support deliberate force modernization planning and provide recommendations for inclusion of future technologies.
  • Represent the Concepts Directorate during OPTs, IPRs, AARs, wargames, conferences, and meetings timed to allow for maximum participation across multiple time zones.
