  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of professional mechanical design, electrical design, or hands-on manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
  • Define and manage assembly flow and test operations of satellite sub-assembly production area
  • Enable day-to-day execution of the production area by eliminating blockers, slow-downs, and waste
  • Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned and feedback
  • Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions to implementation
  • Scrutinize current and proposed designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability
  • Interface with technicians, specialists, and engineers of multiple disciplines to optimize manufacturing and reliability
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems
  • Experience working with composites and integration of avionics systems
  • Documentation and configuration management experience
  • Experience writing test plans, and procedures and providing go/no-go judgment and rationale
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity
