Job Description

We are seeking a motivated intern to contribute to the development and support of our Data-Insights/Subscription-Management systems. The successful candidate will be involved in implementing and testing features utilizing microservices within a cloud-based architecture, or in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of data pipelines, architecture, and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and test new features in our Data-Insights/Subscription-Management systems

• Participate in Agile software development practices to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Work with microservice-based architecture and containerization technologies

• Work on developing/modifying data pipelines, designing and developing data transformations, and data integrations using PySpark on the Databricks platform

• Develop and maintain database scripts and queries on PostgreSQL to support advanced analytics use cases

• Work on developing interactive data visualizations using PowerBI that business and technical teams will use

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies

• Familiarity with microservice-based architecture and containerization

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and development best-practices

• Familiarity in data processing and understanding of big data architecture

• Familiarity of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

• Understanding of security concepts, including authentication, access control, authorization, cryptography, and least privilege

• Experience in cloud-based or embedded computing software development

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an allied discipline.

• Must graduate on or after December 2025.

• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
