In this pivotal role, you’ll dive into assessing and optimizing websites, enhancing organic traffic through a blend of historical insights and industry best practices. What You’ll Do
- Formulate and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and performance.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research to inform and guide content teams in creating targeted and impactful materials.
- Evaluate and address technical SEO issues, providing informed recommendations and effective solutions.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and on-page copy to align with SEO best practices and user experience.
- Direct off-page optimization initiatives, including strategic link-building projects, to fortify online presence.
- Systematically collect and analyze data, preparing detailed reports on traffic, rankings, and various SEO metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing managers and paid search teams to optimize cross-functional campaigns for maximum impact.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in SEO and integrated marketing trends to ensure continuous innovation and competitiveness.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Possess a solid professional background with 4-6 years of experience in the field.
- A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record as an SEO strategist, indicating a history of successfully driving impactful strategies.
- A comprehensive understanding of both standard and contemporary SEO practices.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, showcasing the ability to navigate and leverage these languages for SEO optimization.
- Display practical experience in SEO reporting, emphasizing the capacity to interpret and communicate insights effectively.
- Familiarity with industry-relevant tools such as Conductor, Ahrefs, Brightedge, Screaming Frog, MOZ, as well as proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, with a particular emphasis on the development and presentation of insights via tools such as PowerPoint or Google Sheets.
