Requirements
  • Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret level.
  • Required DoD 8410 WRC 722 Advanced-level certification: CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, CISM, GCIH, GICSP, or GSLC.
  • Compliance with Air Force cybersecurity directives, including IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM implementation and verification requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and eight years of relevant information technology, cybersecurity, or systems engineering experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Risk Management Framework lifecycle across all Department of the Air Force Financial Management systems, ensuring security control implementation, assessment preparation, and continuous monitoring compliance.
  • Provide enterprise cybersecurity program guidance to the Authorizing Official, Authorizing Official Designated Representative, Information System Security Officers, and system owners to ensure compliant application of Department of Defense, federal, and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
  • Manage and review all Financial Management security authorization artifacts, including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Plans of Action and Milestones, and supporting documentation, in eMASS and ITIPS.
  • Oversee enterprise vulnerability and risk management, including analysis of findings, mitigation strategy development, and remediation coordination across multiple Financial Management systems.
  • Prepare and deliver risk-informed decision packages for the Authorizing Official, including Authorization to Operate, Authorization to Operate with Conditions, and Denial decisions, with mission impact analysis and risk justification.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity governance activities, lead technical briefings, and provide updates to Financial Management leadership on enterprise cyber posture and authorization status.
  • Ensure secure implementation of system modifications and verify cybersecurity impact following engineering changes.
  • Mentor and guide Information System Security Officers, cybersecurity analysts, and engineering staff in Risk Management Framework processes, security control requirements, and compliance procedures.
