What believers are saying

  • Harrell-Fish hired GLC on January 21, 2026 for a growth equity majority investment.
  • Tower Health’s October 2024 recapitalization shows GLC handles large, complex liability-management mandates.
  • GLC keeps hiring in 2025-2026, with analyst and associate additions across offices.

What critics are saying

  • Deal-fee revenue depends on volatile transaction markets; a 2026 slowdown crushes utilization.
  • Public materials still emphasize restructuring; that concentration exposes GLC to distressed-credit cycles.
  • Senior banker departures would hollow out coverage; boutique franchises die quickly when rainmakers leave.

What makes GLC Advisors & Co. unique

  • GLC blends restructuring and M&A, winning Harrell-Fish on January 21, 2026.
  • GLC publishes regular software capital markets reports, including Q1 2026 on May 26.
  • GLC’s team adds specialists: Christian Fay joined in 2026; Morgan Hoffman became VP.
