Responsibilities
  • Oversee all club operations to ensure an exceptional member experience.
  • Create a work environment that supports the organization’s culture and drives member engagement.
  • Select, develop, and lead the team to drive club priorities and key performance indicator goals.
  • Coordinate and execute hiring practices and onboard new team members.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure all shifts are covered, providing backup support and covering shifts as needed.
  • Administer and process employee timecards in ADP.
  • Manage the company card for expenditures and maintain receipts.
  • Conduct bank deposits.
  • Oversee ordering of club supplies and retail products.
  • Trend key performance indicators, identify root causes, and execute improvement plans.
  • Ensure the team is aware of marketing efforts and trained on marketing promotions.
  • Assess and assist in emergency situations.
  • Set assigned tasks and lead team members safely and efficiently.
  • Model behaviors that provide an outstanding member experience and coach and inspire others to do the same.

  • Resolve escalated member concerns and partner with the Regional Manager when needed.
  • Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
  • Perform membership functions, including sign-ups, contact and billing information updates, cancellations, unpaid-balance collection, and membership transfers.
  • Perform prospective-member calls and tours and assess membership needs.
  • Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales goals.
  • Oversee consistent cleaning and sanitizing of exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and the assigned area.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free by following the routine cleaning schedule.
  • Conduct comprehensive walks of club areas, promptly address safety and policy issues, and resolve cleanliness concerns.
  • Address maintenance and facility concerns, including broken or missing equipment, through communication with the Facilities Maintenance team.
  • Create cleaning and sanitizing assignments for team members and follow up on work quality and completion.
  • Follow applicable health and safety policies and protocols, report unsafe conditions or at-risk behaviors, and work safely.
