Quality Control Manager
Manages the Quality Control , Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Security programs. This individual is responsible to ensure that quality and safety standards are maintained, deficiencies are identified, and corrective actions are taken.
- Manages the development and implementation of program quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, ISO 9001 tools/analyses.
- Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
- Monitors the review, analyses and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Directs investigations of problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
- Oversees and interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Monitors recommendations for corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
- Responsible for all environmental, safety, and health programs.
- Responsible to the Program Manager to: Implement and enforce the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Supervise all QC employees, ensure all required inspections and audits are accomplished documented and reported IAW the PWS and QCP.
- Accomplish trend analyses, monitor and evaluate training programs, ensure timely and effective response to Customer contract surveillance and reports.
- Monitor Management Plan effectiveness of ES&H programs.
- Administer the Material Deficiency Reporting program.
- Ensure dissemination of Quality related information.
- Manage NISPOM and COMSEC Security programs.
- Manage and review all documentation prior to submittal to government. Ensures documentation is accurate and complies with the current AFH 33-337 and applicable documentation requirements.
- Effectively communicates with Contract Management Office (CMO) personnel. Acts as company liaison with CMO office.
- Manages annual program reviews as required (QCP, RPP, CSP).
- Ensures appropriate physical exams for site personnel are scheduled.
- Manages Plans and Scheduling, Engine Management and Hazardous Materials sections.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline is highly preferred, High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to work effectively with company management and customers, regarding quality issues and concerns
- Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
- Must conduct root cause/corrective action / risk management analysis
- Must have extensive, thorough knowledge Air Force aviation maintenance concepts and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years Aircraft Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience in a military environment
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Understand Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.
- Must be a US citizen
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO 9001 and AS9100 concepts
- Knowledge of security processes and procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements
- Experienced in in writing policies and procedures for training, safety, and program management.
- Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as required.
