  • Experience in IT including 5 or more years of experience supporting IT business projects, IT Risk and Control projects and/or Regulated projects as well as IT operational projects.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry highly preferred.
  • Experience with SOC 1, SOC 2, Software Change Management, and/or Disaster Recovery preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in an institutional investment management firm supporting IT projects is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong hands-on project management capabilities including experience with project management best practices, standards, and methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, react positively to change and re-prioritize when required.
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification and/or PMP Certification preferred.
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities
  • Scoping, planning and executing on IT projects; clarify scope and timing of all activities and deliverables
  • Serve as a scrum master and facilitating scrum events. Strong facilitation skills are a must.
  • Manage the SOC 1 audit process on an annual basis, focusing on timely and thorough responses to auditor requests, and year over year process improvements
  • Collaborating with multiple IT and business teams to achieve project objectives and timelines for all assigned projects
  • Creating and maintaining project plans including tasks, dependencies, milestones, resources, issues and risks
  • Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders on issues and project status; ensure ongoing commitment of all stakeholders whose buy-in is required for the successful delivery of the project
