Requirements
  • Proficient in RESTful Services, GraphQL, Java, Spring Boot/Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql
  • Proficient with Designing and building APIs
  • Proficient with event driven architecture
  • Expert knowledge of Java and the JDK
  • Expert knowledge of Kotlin and React-Native
  • Expert knowledge of the Android SDK - Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components)
  • Experience writing multi-threaded and Networked apps
  • Expert level debugging and analysis skills using ADB
  • Experience with the application submission/provisioning process
  • Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.
  • Have designed and developed a complete Android app from top to bottom.
  • Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio
  • Expert knowledge of services as it relates to mobile apps
  • Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD and unit testing
  • The keen eyes for detail and desire to learn, win, collaborate, and relish a challenge.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly scalable e-commerce applications for the Android platform.
  • Solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology
  • Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms.
  • Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.
  • Participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field
