Red Ventures is seeking an Insurance Sales Leader in the Charlotte, NC area to help launch our agency business through Coverage.com (Owned and operated by Red Ventures). In this role you will work with the VP of Insurance to influence our overall sales strategy and have direct responsibility for the performance and development of the growing team.
Coverage.com helps insurance shoppers everywhere find the right insurance carrier and coverage they need so these calls will be inbound, warm leads. As we continue to build this sales team, the right candidate will be a strong leader who is also comfortable handling sales calls and escalations while helping the team drive success through converting potential customers into existing ones.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with the Insurance VP and Insurance Compliance as a major contributor on the overall sales strategy, focused on setting Coverage’s customer experience apart from our competitors while ensuring that we meet all regulatory requirements.
- Have direct responsibility to execute for your team while aligning with overall goals
- Be a culture carrier of high performance across digital and direct experiences.
- Interact with senior leadership within the company as well as with management teams of our partners.
- Be heavily focused on recruiting new insurance agent talent to our team and leading the sales training process.
- Oversee and have direct responsibility for performance and development of sales agents, including setting sales goals.
- When needed, take inbound insurance calls (inbound warm leads) including customer escalations
- Maintain a wide focus on daily/weekly performance.
- Support agent compensation, incentives and workforce management
- Develop and continually drive project work plans, timelines and budgets.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience as a successful sales leader in a Direct-to-Consumer sales environment, preferably in auto insurance sales
- Property & Casualty licensed or be willing and able to get licensed
- Experience with in-depth analytics and problem solving, the ability to think strategically while being detail and execution-oriented, and success in managing competing priorities.
- Eagerness to break records, create opportunities, and test new initiatives; we love a competitive and innovative spirit.
- Comfort in a fast-paced and often changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed.
