Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency, with storytelling skills and an ability to simplify complex technical information.
  • Proven experience writing for technical audiences, including software developers, data engineers, or data scientists.
  • Strong technical understanding of data platforms, data modeling, or event tracking, and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, and content management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple documentation projects.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering and Support to understand the functionality and nuances of Snowplow's platform and data capabilities.
  • Create and maintain user-friendly documentation for Snowplow products, including technical guides, setup instructions, API references, and tutorials.
  • Develop content around how to leverage Snowplow for a range of use cases, from basic setup to advanced implementations across key industries (e.g., retail, digital products, AI/ML).
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date, and reflects new product updates and features.
  • Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
  • Contribute to Snowplow’s knowledge base and thought leadership to support a community of data professionals.
  • Organise and produce short instructional videos in collaboration with participants across the business.
