- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in reprocessing
- Six months of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience
- Certification by HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
- Oversee the entire range of reprocessing services at UW Health East Madison Hospital.
- Ensure that standards of operation are in compliance with the standards set by all regulatory agencies.
- Be responsible for a significant budget as well as assist in the ongoing hiring, training, and supervising of staff.
- Possess a wide range of knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment, and techniques.
- Provide instruction on new products, procedures, and equipment to ensure the best possible support for our customers and the highest possible care for our patients.
- Have basic understanding of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
- Have basic knowledge of Tracking Systems and OR Scheduling Systems.
- Bachelor's Degree
- One year of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience
- HSPA Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) Certification or Certified Supervisor from CBSPD
