Requirements
  • 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience of applying Configuration Management principals.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to document and manage business processes
  • Experience working in a (Product Life-Cycle Management System) PLM.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Enovia
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Configuration Management principles
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in an integrated team and adapt to change and dynamic requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Configuration Management manager, the Configuration Analyst will plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
  • Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
  • Coordinate modification records for management control.
  • Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
  • Establish and maintain program documents and baselines through the lifecycle of the program.
  • Perform document revision audits to verify compliance with contract requirements and/or internal engineering baselines.
  • Perform regular documents configuration audits on established baselines.
  • Data entry of part numbers or documents into MRP system (CostPoint).
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of external and internal drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with company CM standards before release into the appropriate program via CM Databases or PLM system (Enovia & Teamcenter).
  • Create documentation in support of internal customers.
  • Route internal documentation for review/approval.
  • Maintain procedures for storage, retention and destruction of company records.
  • Issue, track and distribute engineering documentation to the shop floors.
  • Other functions as assigned.
