Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or STEM related field)
  • 15+ years related Growth experience including leading business development teams
  • Experience with Intelligence Community and U.S. Space Force mission, budgets and acquisition processes
  • Proven experience in developing and growing a large portfolio >$600M, with positive book-to-bill (>1) and sustained year over year growth
  • Expert experience developing and/or executing contract acquisition strategies with federal/defense requirements/PM communities and conducting associated procurements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead large and diverse teams while growing and developing people
  • Demonstrated ability to attract and retain top talent
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to create, establish mutually beneficial relationships internal and external to Leidos
  • Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  • Must have a current TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Account Managers, Business Developers, Strategy and Capture professionals
  • Develop and establish relationships between the customers, strategic partners and across the entire company
  • Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies that drive revenue growth and margin expansion for the company
  • Lead a team that prepares and submits proposals in pursuit of business in the US and International Defense marketplace
  • Investigate and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, geographic expansions, licensing, partnerships, joint ventures, new business/market opportunities and sustainability
  • Allocate apportioned resources between existing and new businesses and continuously monitor the market to keep track of competitor developments and their impact on market share
Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with SAP/SAR programs
  • Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, technical staff, division managers, and peers in the Group and across Leidos
