Requirements
  • Experience in pre and/or post-sales in a relevant technical domain.
  • Experience in pre-sales manager role in developing, managing and building a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
  • Experience in complex strategic accounts and navigating technical challenges.
  • Experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teams.
  • Expertise in Big Data or AI/ML solutions, ideally familiar with real hands-on experience, building in production workloads.
  • Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models.
  • Great at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiency.
  • Market experience of the UK&I region.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and building your Pre-Sales Solutions Architect team.
  • Analyses team skills gaps and proactively make plans to address them.
  • Rapidly scale the designated team without sacrificing quality.
  • Accountable for achieving the targets of the group.
  • Build a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team.
  • Support increase in Consumption on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
  • Promote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organisation.
  • Display an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned vertical.
  • Build Databricks' brand in UK&I in partnership with the Marketing and Sales team.
