Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • February 2026 pricing changes convert free baseball viewers into recurring subscribers after five streams.
  • April 2026 hired Vivek Bedi, signaling heavier AI and platform investment.
  • DICK'S said GameChanger generated nearly $150 million in fiscal 2025 revenue.

What critics are saying

  • Limiting free baseball and softball streams to five views risks family churn in 2026.
  • GameChanger remains baseball-softball centered; TeamSnap and SportsEngine own broader league workflows.
  • DICK'S can reallocate capital away from GameChanger, making it an existential budget target.

What makes Gamechanger unique

  • GameChanger’s 2026 overhaul added 1080p HD streams, highlight reels, and AI recap stories.
  • DICK'S owned GameChanger served 10 million users and 1 million teams in 2026.
  • Baseball and softball scorekeeping depth still outclasses TeamSnap, SportsEngine, and generic team apps.
