  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols, particularly BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
  • Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN networking and Layer2 and Layer3 protocols, including LACP, HSRP, MPLS, Spanning Tree, VLANs, GRE, GTP, IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale network deployments and troubleshooting complex network issues
  • Experience with network security practices, tools, and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to handle on-call support and occasional travel
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and manage complex network solutions with a focus on reliability, maintainability, scalability, and security
  • Conduct detailed network analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal network operation.
  • Manage deployment of satellite ground systems in private data centers and integration with customer networks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the network infrastructure
  • Participate in on-call support to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
  • Provide technical support to manage network services, equipment, and devices
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in network engineering
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, CCIE, or Network+
  • Experience in network automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with satellite network hub systems and network operations
  • Experience with scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper and Aruba switches and routers
