Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of construction project experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate experience in schedule management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.

  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Horizontal Directional Drilling crews supporting high-voltage utility and transmission projects.
  • Participate with the Project Manager and client in a preliminary walkthrough of the construction drawings.
  • Provide supervision and planning for the successful completion of projects.
  • Coordinate Maintenance of Traffic activities.
  • Provide daily completion reporting using the ArcGIS Collector application.
  • Read and understand design schematics and maps, and create redlines or as-builts.
  • Ensure all assigned personnel receive appropriate safety training.
  • Inspect workplace facilities, tools, equipment, and machinery to identify and correct deficiencies or potential hazards and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation, and company requirements.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, and technical instruments are fit for purpose, functional, calibrated, and supported by appropriate protective equipment, methods, guards, and management systems to reduce or eliminate injury and illness risks.
  • Assist local management in investigating work-related incidents to determine causes and contributing factors.
  • Develop mitigation measures and corrective actions for findings from observations and inspections to reduce recurring workplace hazards.
  • Recommend safe work processes and demonstrate personal protective equipment safety features that reduce employee exposure to workplace and environmental hazards.
  • Provide weekly major-material utilization and inventory reports.
  • Maintain major-material inventory releases until installation.
  • Ensure restorations are completed according to jurisdictional requirements after construction and schedule final inspections with city inspectors.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field of study.
  • At least 5 years of construction project experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional certification.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration 20 Certification.

MasTec has priced a public offering of $650 million in senior notes due 2036. The notes will carry a 5.850% interest rate, payable semi-annually, and were priced at 99.656%. They will mature on 30 September 2036. The company intends to use the net proceeds primarily to repay some or all of its $600 million term loan, which matures on 26 June 2028, and to cover related fees and expenses. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, potentially including repayment of existing debt under its senior unsecured credit facility. The offering is expected to close on 17 August 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. PNC Capital Markets, Truist Securities, Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities are serving as joint book-running managers.
