Requirements
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in Planning and Project Controls including minimum of five years of proven experience within full cycle of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management contracts including construction site experience, particularly in mineral processing and Oil and Gas sectors.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Earned Value reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or related fields.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed integrated master EPCM program using Primavera P6, encompassing all phases from engineering through commissioning and handover.
  • Engage with various internal and external stakeholders including client’s planning and project controls/PMO leads, engineering teams, technology and equipment suppliers and fabricators, construction managers and commissioning leads to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project deliverables and milestones.
  • Monitor and report on engineering deliverables’ progress, ensuring timely completion and integration into the overall project program.
  • Identify and manage program interfaces between various project disciplines and phases and external stakeholders to manage the overall program and its integrity and robustness.
  • Implement resource assignment and leveling techniques in Primavera P6 to optimise workforce utilisation and prevent overallocation, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis to regularly assess achievability of key completion dates and to identify potential delays and help the team to develop mitigation strategies, maintaining project timelines and objectives.
  • Generate regular status updates and earned value reports to monitor project performance and inform stakeholders of progress and variances.
  • Utilise 4D planning tools to create visual representations of the construction sequence, enhancing stakeholder understanding and facilitating proactive issue resolution.
  • Support development and maintenance of dynamic dashboards using Power BI to visualise project performance metrics, including S-curves for earned value management, providing real-time insights into project health.
Desired Qualifications
  • Practical experience in Schedule Risk Analysis, 4D planning and use of Power BI reporting are highly desired.
  • Fluency in English and German languages are highly desired.
