Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of administrative support experience in a warehouse or retail environment is required.
  • At least one year of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel, is required.
  • Multi-line phone experience is required.
  • Professional etiquette, excellent verbal communication, and previous customer-facing experience are required.
  • Ability to multitask, transition quickly between functions, and prioritize tasks with strong organizational skills is required.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.
  • Strong data-entry skills are required.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, maintain a clean driving record, meet driver qualification requirements, and possess a valid driver's license are required.
  • Ability to meet the physical and environmental requirements of the office and battery warehouse environment, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, prolonged sitting and computer or telephone use, and use of personal protective equipment when required.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, including auditing, paying, and filing vendor invoices according to company policy and procedure; managing collections; and preparing customer invoices, purchase orders, and delivery tickets accurately and on time.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Verify that deposits are accurate and made on a timely basis.
  • Upload and download handheld computer devices and process data according to a set schedule.
  • Provide customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Support front-counter retail operations as needed.
  • Maintain the dealer database.
  • Assist with inventory counts and research variances.
  • Follow and fulfill all driver program requirements specified by the manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
