Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, and implements procedures, instructions and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, to ensure quality of products according FOX Quality Management System, Quality standards and customer specific requirements.
  • Participates and internal and external audits to Fox Quality Management System.
  • Defines sampling procedures as well as procedures for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data, (Statistical Process Control).
  • Collaborate with customer and project team to define Quality controls to comply with customer specific requirements and applicable regulations, i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949.
  • Responsible to drive customer satisfaction and mitigate issues by identifying and implementing design, process, and equipment changes.
  • Leads Root Cause Analysis (CAR/CAPA) for internal or external issues following problem solving methodologies (8D’s, A3, 5Why’s, Ishikawa).
  • Quality representative for assigned New Product Introduction projects following APQP Fox methodology and Quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit PPAP and or FAIR documentation for customer approval according to Fox or Customer requirements.
  • Collaborates to resolve supplier quality issues, coordinating efforts with Supplier Quality team and Engineering.
  • Compiles and writes training materials. Conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Supports all organizational initiatives including Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.
  • Manages all projects with limited oversight from management.
  • Manages complex technology developments and difficult customer interactions.
