Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide general labor for aerial and underground construction projects.
  • Dig trenches, unload building materials, and prepare job sites using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and picks.
  • Perform fiber blowing operations and assist with installing fiber optic cable in conduits using fiber-blowing equipment.
  • Perform general labor on construction sites.
  • Place conduit as directed by the foreman or supervisor.
  • Read maps and follow directions.
  • Support trench digging and closing.
  • Move materials and vehicles as directed by the foreman or supervisor.
  • Perform maintenance services including cleanup, washing vehicles, and landscaping.
  • Perform duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment, including trucks and other equipment, as directed and certified.
  • Tow trailers with flatbed trucks.
  • Perform aerial and underground work as needed, directed, and trained.
  • Troubleshoot radio frequency and fiber line or equipment issues.
  • Construct and repair underground radio frequency and fiber services.
  • Read and construct from design schematics and maps.
  • Learn the inventory and equipment required for projects.
  • Learn and become certified in the use of line trucks, bucket trucks, cable reel equipment, saws, and drills.
  • Climb poles safely using climbing equipment.
  • Move and relocate radio frequency and fiber services.
  • Follow National Electrical Safety Commission safety guidelines.

MasTec has priced a public offering of $650 million in senior notes due 2036. The notes will carry a 5.850% interest rate, payable semi-annually, and were priced at 99.656%. They will mature on 30 September 2036. The company intends to use the net proceeds primarily to repay some or all of its $600 million term loan, which matures on 26 June 2028, and to cover related fees and expenses. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, potentially including repayment of existing debt under its senior unsecured credit facility.
