Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of T2's software products, services, and processes
- Extensive knowledge of various operating systems, software products
- Strong time management skills
- Proven experience in a sales position
- Knowledge of the parking industry strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
- Ability to write presentations, articles, routine reports, proposals, and correspondence
- Strong ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed
Responsibilities
- Establish good rapport with customers and maintain regular contact with assigned accounts
- Fulfill a regularly scheduled checklist of items to be covered with clients
- Proactively obtain training on products, services, pricing models, and contracts
- Identify client issues, create plan for follow-up, and stay on top of these issues
- Ascertain whether clients have successfully adopted products and services
- Develop add-on sales pipeline and opportunities and fulfill an assigned quota
- Follow up on customer needs in a timely manner
- Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and sales proposals
- Introduce client to new company offerings and pricing changes
- Work with business development, marketing, customer service, and other internal departments to ensure accounts are well-served
- Fully document customer contacts in T2 Systems' CRM program (Salesforce.com)
- Provide input to Engineering and Marketing based on knowledge of the marketplace gained from interaction with customers and prospects
- Keep abreast of industry trends/issues that may impact T2's clients' operations
- Utilize Salesforce.com and maintain the highest levels of data integrity
- Conduct after-order follow-up
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to company organizational procedures and policies
- Work with the Account Management team to document and improve process efficiency
- Follow up on and complete Account Renewals on accounts
- Establish friendly business and personal relationships with all potential customers for all assigned product lines in the assigned territory
