NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst – Workday to join our team in Cleveland, OH!
The Senior HRIS Analyst is an integral part of the HR Technology team and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Workday for the organization. As a new Workday customer, we are looking to enhance existing functionality and help our users get the most out of Workday. The current modules in use at The NRP Group are HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation & Workday Help. Under the direction of the Director of HR Technology & Payroll, this role will also assist with providing support for day-to-day Workday management including import loads (EIB), configuration, security, audit reporting, testing and other troubleshooting support to develop and maintain positive relationships with partners to ensure business objectives are met.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Addresses end-user support cases as assigned. Troubleshoots and resolves production support issues and resolves defects timely and with exceptional customer service.
Assists with support for transactions as needed in HR System – Workday modules include: HCM, recruiting, benefits, payroll, absence, advanced compensation, time tracking, absence, talent & learning.
Effectively partners with teams such as, HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, IT, and others to provide support for requests such as enhancements, reports, defects, and new functionality.
Performs research into problems, identifying opportunities to correct the situation, and seeks opinions and feedback on suggested solutions. Looks beyond the surface to ensure the solution will fix the problem.
Creates and modifies ad hoc reports as needed; maintains schedule and delivery of ongoing reports to meet HR team needs.
Frequently provides status updates on ‘in progress’ work items or projects assigned.
Under the direction of the Director of HR Technology, leads requirements gathering, designing, building, testing, and deployment of new functionality or modules. Understands the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes.
In partnership with the Director of HR Technology, utilizes Workday knowledge to make recommendations on new functionality, provides creative solutions to business user requests and improves overall usability of the Workday system.
Under the direction of the Director of HR Technology, configures, tests, validates and implements Business Process changes in Workday.
Maintains technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
Participates in bi-annual Workday releases by reviewing release notes, educating end users on new functionality, making recommendations on functionality to deploy, conducting new functionality and regression testing.
Performs data audits and provides day to day system maintenance to monitor and maintain data accuracy.
Develops, documents, and maintains system audits and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field; or equivalent HRIS experience required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 4-years of hands-on experience in Workday configuration and functional support, with a preference for Workday HCM, Recruiting and/or Security functional knowledge.
Knowledge of HR processes (from previous assignments, roles, experience in HR – i.e., responsibility in new hires, terminations, leaves of absences, employee benefits, etc.).
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload, coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate, document and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Demonstrated professional demeanor and ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to quickly build rapport and trust while maintaining integrity dealing with sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations.
Analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team.
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems and processes.
