Compensation Overview

Verition is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations (IR) Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Investor Relations team in managing investor relationships, coordinating capital activity, and working closely with third-party fund administrators. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial markets.

Investor Communication:

• Assist in preparing and distributing regular updates to investors, including performance reports, newsletters, and market commentaries.
• Respond to investor inquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain and update investor documentation, including subscription agreements, KYC (Know Your Customer) forms, and compliance documents.

Capital Activity Coordination:

• Coordinate capital activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
• Liaise with investors and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of capital transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of all capital activities.

Third-Party Fund Administrator Liaison:

• Work closely with third-party fund administrators to manage investor transactions and records.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of investor information to the fund administrator.
• Monitor and reconcile investor account balances and transactions.

Marketing Support:

• Help coordinate Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) as well as bespoke prospect and client materials including presentations, spreadsheets, and ad hoc queries.
• Maintain and update the investor database and CRM system with relevant information.
• Manage all reporting databases.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and potential investor segments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in client services, account management, or a similar role within the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and hedge fund operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software and CRM systems.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
