As a BrightBee School Operations Associate,, you’ll work within the Los Angeles County Area. The School Support Associate is versatile and proactive School Support Associate to join the team and help ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our students. This role is the "glue" of our daily operations, providing essential support across the campus—from the front office to the cafeteria.

This is meaningful, flexible work that makes a direct impact on students and families in your community.

Responsibilities include:

• Campus Monitoring: Maintain a visible and positive presence throughout the grounds to ensure student safety and adherence to school guidelines.
• Cafeteria Support: Assist with lunchroom transitions, supervise student seating, and help maintain a clean, orderly dining environment.
• Office Operations: Provide administrative backup, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with light filing or data entry.
• Operational Agility: Step in to assist with school events, morning arrivals, and afternoon dismissals as needed.

The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. 

Custodian Roles 

• Monday – Friday
• 7am-4pm

✅ Basic Requirements

• HS Diploma / GED
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

To keep students safe, you’ll need to:

• Pass a background check
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
  • Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position.  Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for this role is between $123 - $214.
