What does it mean to be a Talent Acquisition Specialist II at GLS?
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth by attracting and hiring top-tier talent. You’ll oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and onboarding new hires. In addition to your recruitment responsibilities, you’ll also support administrative HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and new employees.
How you will drive value within the organization as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II?
- Conduct regular meetings to understand position requirements and departmental goals.
- Develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies for each open role.
- Facilitate consensus meetings to ensure fair and equitable selection processes.
- Actively source and pre-screen candidates using various job boards and online resources.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for a specific talent acquisition function, acting as a liaison and providing guidance to stakeholders.
- Create and analyze reports on key performance indicators for recruitment efforts.
- Enhance the organization’s online presence to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Promote job openings through various channels, including job boards, PPC campaigns, and community outreach.
- Consistently meet or exceed established talent acquisition goals and departmental KPIs.
- Participate in college career fairs and networking events to increase brand awareness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Own administrative HR functions, including onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as needed to support the company’s goals
What you should have to be successful as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II?
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using platforms like LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, and Indeed.
- Intrinsically motivated individual who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and drives improvements to processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others, manage conflict, handle sensitive information, and build collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business applications, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Physical Requirements: While performing the essential duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
- Remain in a stationary position 100% of the workday
- Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment
