Requirements
  • High school education with 10+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility is required.
  • IAM Level 2 or higher is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and United States Department of Defense cybersecurity standards is required.
  • Experience with Xacta, eMASS, and vulnerability scanning tools is required.
  • Experience supporting network enclaves, including NIPR, SIPR, and DRSN, is required.
  • Knowledge of TEMPEST requirements is required.
Responsibilities
  • Correlate threat data from various sources to identify hackers active in client networks and posing potential threats.
  • Provide assessments and reports that support customer situational awareness and understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.
  • Develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.
  • Produce cyber threat assessments based on entity threat analysis.
  • Provide computer forensic and intrusion support for high-technology investigations, including computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.
  • Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends involving computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.
  • Collaborate with intrusion analysts to identify, report, and coordinate remediation of cyber threats.
  • Provide timely and actionable sanitized intelligence to cyber incident response professionals.
  • Use technical knowledge of computer systems and networks with cyber threat information to assess the client's security posture.
  • Conduct intelligence analysis of intrusion signatures, tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with the preparation for and execution of cyber attacks.
  • Research hackers, hacker techniques, vulnerabilities, and exploits, and provide detailed briefings and intelligence reports to leadership.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain Xacta and eMASS project artifacts supporting the DRSN Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Establish security control testing procedures and measure the effectiveness of implemented security controls.
  • Manage Xacta and eMASS projects throughout the Risk Management Framework lifecycle of the DRSN system.
  • Coordinate with the Authorizing Official to understand and implement required security control and overlay changes.
  • Review and update Risk Management Framework artifacts, including System Security Plans, Configuration Management Plans, Security Assessment Reports, Plans of Action and Milestones, and Continuous Monitoring Checklists.
  • Review vulnerability scans and perform corrective actions across system hardware and software.
  • Ensure systems are configured and validated in compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.
  • Conduct vulnerability and compliance scanning as part of continuous monitoring schedules.
  • Assess, update, and maintain documentation for DRSN, NIPR, and SIPR Authority to Operate packages.
  • Serve in an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) capacity for supported systems.
  • Support patch management, antivirus updates, and secure configuration enforcement across enclaves.
  • Provide cybersecurity support aligned with the 20th Cyberspace Squadron missions to deliver full-spectrum cyberspace capabilities to Combatant Commanders.
