Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7–10 years of deposit-focused business development experience
  • Proven success sourcing and closing operating deposit relationships
  • Strong understanding of deposit products, treasury management solutions, and pricing strategies
  • Ability to assess client needs and structure tailored cash management solutions
  • Deep knowledge of competitive markets, rate environments, and industry trends
  • Self-directed, results-driven approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred
Responsibilities
  • Source, acquire, and grow deposit relationships with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, trusts, and family offices
  • Achieve annual new deposit production targets of $10–20 million across personal, business, and trust accounts
  • Structure customized deposit and treasury management solutions aligned with client liquidity, cash flow, and operational needs
  • Maintain expert knowledge of First Western’s deposit products, treasury offerings, value proposition, and competitive market dynamics
  • Partner with Profit Center teams including relationship bankers, private bankers, and treasury and wealth partners to deliver comprehensive solutions and deepen relationships
  • Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline through networking, community involvement, CRM documentation, and regular performance reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance
