What We Are Looking For:

As a Summer 2025 IP Network Engineering Intern at Bandwidth you can expect to work on enhancements to a highly resilient global network. You will be exposed to network technologies from multiple vendors including, but not limited to, Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto and help Bandwidth continue to strengthen parts of our network infrastructure. You will learn how multiple pieces of network infrastructure interact seamlessly to provide Bandwidth’s customers unparalleled

What You’ll Do:

• Support the evaluation, development, and testing of tools to enhance Bandwidth’s global IP Network 
• Work closely with our network engineering team to research and provide recommendations for both datacenter and WAN network architectures 
• Work with switches, routers, and firewalls to update configurations as well as troubleshoot

What You Need:

• Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering or network related degree program 
• 0-3 years of experience with IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to function independently on tasks and project work
• Ability to operate in a linux environment
• Certifications are nice, but not required
