Job Title: Research Engineer

As a Research Engineer at Altera.AL, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our cutting-edge research to life. Your work will involve implementing and experimenting with the latest research techniques, and developing tools and infrastructure that streamline the transition of research into viable products.

The ideal candidate will have relevant computational experience and a history of working at the frontier of engineering and science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experiment with and adopt the latest research techniques in AI and machine learning.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance benchmarks for evaluating AI performance.

• Implement and continuously refine our agent architecture to improve functionality and efficiency.

• Contribute to the creation of a seamless experimental framework, supporting the integration of research findings into product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Solid experience in software engineering, especially in relation to AI or machine learning projects.

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI research (e.g., Python, C++).

• Experienced in version control and code reviews, familiar with automatic integration, deployment development environment.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for creative and innovative thinking.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
