WVDOH experience a plus
Engineering-in-Training Certification required

Responsibilities

Work under the direct supervision of a licensed Transportation Project Manager on various projects throughout West Virginia
Produce high-quality plans, maps, and 3D models for clients
Collect data, perform existing condition and alternative analysis evaluation for engineering reports
Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross section and super-elevation design, roadside barrier design, ADA curb ramp design, roadway modeling
Provide design support for erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management plans, right-of-way plans, utility relocation plans, permit application drawings, and traffic related plans
Create and submit technical reports, specifications, and design calculations

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc., (AMT) is an ENR 500 A/E firm providing services in the disciplines of civil engineering, construction management and inspection, traffic and transportation design, water and wastewater systems, environmental and water resources, and landscape architecture. AMT is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Project Engineer to join our growing Team of design professionals in Parkersburg, WV.

Qualified candidates must have their EIT certification or be licensed as a Professional Engineer and have between 4 -8 years of progressive engineering design experience in the transportation industry.

This individual will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Transportation Project Manager on a variety of projects throughout West Virginia, producing high-quality plans, maps, and 3D models for our clients.
