Summary:
As a Business Architect, you will define opportunities to create tangible business value for the client by leading current state assessments, identifying high-level customer requirements, and developing business solutions and structures to achieve the vision. You will also develop a business case to realize these opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all FBTI related inquiries, providing expert guidance to within the team, and towards other stakeholders (Business and Management actors).
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for other team members and project contributors, enhancing their understanding of the product and its functionalities.
- Oversee and contribute to the rollout of major upgrades and releases of FBTI.
- Coordinate with Finastra support team to review CACIB cases raised for defects and enhancement requests.
- Ensure consistency of functional and non-functional needs, and challenge business requirements.
- Design the functional solution / prepare user stories (or equivalent documents).
- Write the acceptance criteria (following BDD approach).
- Synchronize with all stakeholders for interface design and specification.
- Explain to development team the requirements / user stories.
- Make sure user stories progress and status is up to date (related to BA’s activities).
- Prepare list of test scenarios (functional, integration), test data preparation.
- Execute functional testing / user stories testing and integration testing to check that developments are compliant with the needs, contributes to E2E / UAT testing.
- Demo preparation (functional part).
- Preparation of functional documentation for application.
- Support during INT / E2E / UAT.
- Perform level three support of applications in production.
- Analyze and evaluate the bugs as raised by first and second level support.
- Coordination with support team and technical team to investigate the bugs and propose workarounds as far as possible.
- Specify acceptance criteria for bug fixes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Domain knowledge: Expertise in FBTI configuration, customization and support.
- Data Analysis: proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI) for extracting insights from large datasets.
- Requirement management: expertise in documenting, analyzing, and refining project design requirements, including functional and non-functional specifications.
- Process modeling: Proficiency in business process modeling and workflow design, using tools such as MS Visio, BPMN.
- Advanced communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, present findings, and write functional/technical documentation.
- Stakeholder’s management: ability to identify, analyze, and manage the expectations and requirements of stakeholders. Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and cooperation.
- Testing organization and execution: Proficiency in designing, executing test cases, both manually, and using automated tools, to verify that the software behaves as expected by users.
- Agile methodologies: understanding of agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and related project management tools (JIRA).
- Behavior Driven Development (BDD): Hands-on experience of frameworks and practices, with experience using Cucumber/Gherkin, and X-ray tools.
- Parameter-driven applications: familiarity with enterprise systems like Finastra FBTI using message injection such as XML.
- Critical and analytical thinking: capability to analyze complex business problems, prioritize requirements, and propose innovative solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation (TI+).
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
