Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering (chemical, civil, or environmental), or a related scientific discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental project management, with specific expertise in multimedia compliance consulting.
  • A proven track record of securing business and a strong drive to expand the client base.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in environmental reporting, auditing, and the preparation of regulatory reports, plans, and programs.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across dynamic teams.
  • Ability to efficiently engage on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Willingness to travel overnight, both in-state and out-of-state.

Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental compliance audits and assessments, transforming complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance strategies for a diverse client base.
  • Oversee the entire scope of environmental compliance for clients, performing rigorous audits and assessments to identify potential liabilities and gaps; develop and implement robust corrective action plans and long-term compliance strategies tailored to each client’s operational profile.
  • Proactively lead initiatives to expand the client base while nurturing existing relationships; target public-sector and industrial entities; write and manage winning proposals.
  • Provide technical and administrative support, including regulatory research, data collection, data analysis, and the preparation and review of technical documents; ensure adherence to quality standards, budgetary constraints, project schedules, and scope-specific assignments.
  • Lead, train, and mentor junior staff members, fostering professional growth within the firm.
