Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business leaders to forecast resourcing needs and track employee active job status to support district and project goals.
  • Work with intern and student talent sourcing programs to provide a consistent talent pool for project needs.
  • Assist the talent acquisition team with candidate screening and interview coordination for placement at all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate onboarding access, assets, and activities for district-level new hires and internal transfers.
  • Investigate employee relations inquiries and issues using prescribed company processes with support and guidance from the legal compliance team.
  • Conduct exit interviews for all separated employees using company processes and interview collection tools.
  • Work with legal counsel on immigration matters to ensure company and employee compliance with federal and state tax and document requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for human resources processes and project, state, or union-required topics within the district, with oversight from the direct supervisor.
  • Schedule and facilitate human resources trainings regarding company systems, performance and compensation evaluation reviews, compliance trainings, and company programs.
  • Provide input and lead human resources program initiatives from development through implementation as needed.
  • Document and track employee relations issues within assigned projects or the district to identify trends or training opportunities.
  • Recommend training and employee development for identified trends and implement solutions with oversight from the direct supervisor.
  • Generate and submit employee information changes for new hires, transfers, terminations, compensation, benefit enrollment, and employee demographic data updates through prescribed workflows and systems.
