Requirements
  • MS or above degree in EE, CS or relevant fields.
  • Proficient in C/C ++ and Python or Matlab.
  • Familiar with imaging and video compression algorithms and H264/H265, JPEG, HEIF standard.
  • Demonstrate creativity in problem solving, ability to think out-of-box, and come up to speed quickly in new technical areas.
Responsibilities
  • Develop the image and video compression algorithm/architecture for next-gen AR/VR products.
  • Define the codec pipeline feature according to the product requirements.
  • Optimize video pipeline and algorithm with the stringent constraints of latency, bandwidth and power on the edge.
  • Work with SOC prototype team and bring up customized IPs.
  • Explore new technology and pathfinding to apply new video technologies to the product to enhance VR/AR experience.

  • Familiar with ISP/Display algorithm.
  • Experience of SOC development for consumer electronics.
