Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computational Biology, Genomics, Population Genetics, or related field
  • Must be proficient coding in R, including data wrangling and visualization
  • Experience working with high-throughput datasets and performing exploratory data analyses
  • Experience presenting technical material to diverse audiences
  • Must be graduating AFTER August 2023
  • Expertise in immunology, structural biology or machine learning
  • Prior experience working with wet lab biologists
  • Prior experience developing software in a collaborative setting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Build, evaluate, and improve statistical/bioinformatics tools to analyze DNA sequencing data
  • Characterize existing and new quantitative metrics summarizing properties of the TCR repertoire and critically evaluate their biological relevance in a variety clinical contexts
  • Visualize and present technical results to multiple different audiences clearly and succinctly
  • Perform quick and thorough analyses of DNA sequencing data to understand outliers, make descriptive figures, and address key statistical questions
  • Be a problem solver: communicate well, ask questions, and enthusiastically seek out opportunities to learn
