Requirements
  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs across various geographies and market segments
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop transformation and market expansion strategies, including new product or service offerings, and partnerships.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure market potential, assess the impact of strategic initiatives, and adjust plans based on performance metrics and insights.
  • Define and refine target customer segments to maximize engagement and growth, ensuring WF’s offerings are tailored to meet the unique needs of each group
  • Work closely across CSBB to implement and monitor growth tactics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Keep a close eye on industry trends, competitor moves, and disruptive technologies that may affect WF’s trajectory and offer insights on how to stay ahead
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of growth initiatives, market opportunities, and key performance indicators

  • 5-7 years of experience in market strategy, business development, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to drive strategic decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and ideas to diverse audiences
  • Experience in project management, strategic planning, and execution of cross-functional initiatives
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively across teams and functions
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, customer behavior, and market dynamics
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
