Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (genetics, biology, chemistry, computer science, statistics, etc.)
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • High regard for confidentiality
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
  • Experience with Google docs and calendaring
  • Prior leadership experience (professional or other)
  • Experience conducting research and reading scientific papers preferred
  • A desire to foster inclusivity and community with others
  • Familiarity with genetics a plus
  • Ability to work from 23andMe's office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of three days per week
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support for the Research Team
  • Work closely with Research and Legal teams to support access to published 23andMe genomics datasets
  • Manage review, tracking, and sharing of scientific publications
  • Track program metrics, communicate progress, maintain program documentation
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with other departments
  • Organize and support team events and programs
  • Work on other duties and projects as assigned
