Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager
  • Experience supporting an hourly population, ideally within manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution industries
  • Strong understanding of provincial health and safety, employment, and human rights legislation
  • Experienced in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and HR tools (HRIS, ATS, scheduling/time tracking)
Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of HR professionals in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Manage full-cycle HR programs to support operational and strategic business needs
  • Develop strategic relationships with business partners by building trust and influencing business decisions
  • Coach and mentor local HR team and collaborate with HR colleagues located across Canada to ensure consistency and alignment in HR programming
  • Lead projects at both a site and national level, influence and build buy-in from stakeholders, and then drive execution and achievement of the key results using effective change management and project management skills

  • Team player with strong prioritization, time management, and organization skills
  • Ability to work within a quickly changing, high pressure environment and with a great deal of ambiguity
