- At least 3 years of experience in IT auditing or security engineering.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, compliance frameworks, and risk analysis.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and cybersecurity teams.
- Some or all of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, or Department of Defense 8140/8570 IAT/M Level III.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a background investigation and perform some work at government or customer sites.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration test oversight.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, CMMC 2.0, RMF, JSIG, and related security frameworks.
- Evaluate firewalls, data protection mechanisms, and other security controls.
- Prepare audit reports with remediation recommendations.
- Analyze system logs using cybersecurity tools such as Wazuh, Elastic Stack, Splunk, and Graylog.
- Support cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the company.
- Linux and Windows infrastructure and cloud security experience with AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
- A proactive approach to emerging threats and advanced persistent threats.
