Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Property Manager in the multifamily housing industry is required.
  • Tax credit experience is required.
  • Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and sales experience is required.
  • Knowledge of fair housing regulations is required.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, SharePoint, and ADP are required.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
  • Occasional travel for company events or meetings may be required.
  • The role requires the ability to perform regular sitting, standing, walking, and hand and arm use, with occasional climbing.
  • The role requires extended computer or telephone use and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • The role requires the ability to respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Own the property's financial performance by meeting occupancy and net operating income goals.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to regional leadership.
  • Execute pricing and marketing strategies based on market trends and competitors to maintain strong occupancy.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies without sacrificing quality and resident experience.
  • Conduct regular property and vacant unit inspections to ensure smooth operations and adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure prompt, high-quality service resolution.
  • Deliver a high-quality living experience and service for residents while fostering community engagement to support renewals and a positive reputation.
  • Hire, train, and lead a high-performing on-site team.
  • Support team growth through goal setting, coaching, and regular performance check-ins.
  • Build a culture of accountability, empowerment, and recognition.
  • Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Industry designation certifications such as CPM, CAM, or RMP are a plus.
  • Experience with Yardi, Entrata, Asana, and EliseAI is a bonus.
