  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree
  • Current Licensure preferred
  • LEED certification preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years related experience managing projects with construction budgets of $70M
  • Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers
  • Strong client leadership and team leadership capability
  • Ability to perform as a Leader of Authority with expert level knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, technical knowledge, coordination skills, and ability to build rapport with the project team and client
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and other data management software
Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and nurture successful partnering relationships with clients
  • Develop and maintain positive client relations throughout the project
  • Participate in Business Development activities and partner with Marketing and Office Leadership
  • Lead project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability objectives
  • Manage design and documentation process during construction
  • Accountable for risk mitigation, compliance, and developing a risk management plan
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and generate a positive team environment
  • Implement CannonDesign Method using process expectations, best practices, and technology
  • Coordinate workload of team, provide leadership, and communicate client objectives
  • Monitor work progress and ensure firm's best practice standards are implemented
  • Ensure all statutory requirements for the project are achieved
  • Coordinate with Project Architect and Quality leader in planning work
  • Participate in negotiating contracts and act as a mentor to less experienced staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
