Requirements
  • A State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License is required.
  • A high school diploma, graduation from trade school, or three years of related experience with licensure is required.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, install, and maintain electrical systems while ensuring compliance with National Fire Protection Association, National Electrical Code, and The Joint Commission standards.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, including scheduling, reporting, and updating system documentation and training materials.
  • Respond to emergency situations and power outages, ensuring safe resolution and maintaining operational continuity.
  • Identify and recommend long-term system improvements and cost-saving strategies, including support of energy management systems.
  • Communicate work status and technical guidance to stakeholders while maintaining tools, equipment, and readiness to support multi-site operations.
  • Support team and organizational initiatives by leading or contributing to special projects, training staff, and participating in ongoing development activities.
