Requirements
  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Working knowledge of bank technology platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Spectrum, BranchSuite, Prism, and Prologue is preferred.
  • Advanced skill with Excel, Word, web applications, and web-based applications.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of governmental regulations for financial institutions.
  • Very strong knowledge of products offered by Alabama Credit Union.
  • Ability to write effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar, including reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Initiative, creativity, and self-direction, with a results- and goal-driven approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Very strong problem-solving and problem-resolution skills.
  • Professional personal presentation and the ability to remain calm under potentially stressful circumstances while managing multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to understand the needs of members, coworkers, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach, use gross and fine motor coordination, operate standard office machines, handle paper including counting cash, and occasionally lift and carry incidental supplies.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate financial statements.
  • Perform reconciliations necessary to ensure proper reporting and compliance.
  • Address inquiries from team members, resolve issues, and connect team members with appropriate resources.
