- Direct and coordinate all shipping, receiving, warehousing, crating, final assembly, and material handling activities.
- Lead daily logistics operations by assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely completion of shipping and receiving functions.
- Ensure customer shipments, intercompany transfers, and aftermarket parts orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries to ensure timely receipt, inspection, and processing of materials.
- Utilize the enterprise resource planning system to ensure service orders, shipping transactions, and inventory movements are completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with the Operations Supervisor to maintain production schedules through effective material movement and shipping coordination.
- Drive operational excellence by achieving performance goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations, material flow, shipping processes, and facility layout.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, freight carriers, transportation providers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
- Monitor freight performance, shipping costs, and carrier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance to improve operational performance.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
