  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IA support environment.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
  • CISSP certification is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with VMware, CITRIX, Cisco switches, ACAS, HBSS, scripting and group policy, Windows Server 2016, Azure Active Directory, and firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of VPN and Virtualization technologies is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance.
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Identify network, system vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches.
  • Design, configure, and maintain complex switching environments and multi-server setups including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, and Ether-Channel (Bonding).
  • Configure and install network software for upgrades and maintenance of network systems.
  • Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure network security through proper configuration of VPNs and firewalls.
  • Participate in the “After Hours Duty Support” process.
  • Serve as backup to the Program Manager when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide outstanding customer support.
