Requirements
  • Five years of related experience relevant to the subject needs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant technical or occupational skill areas, as determined by program goals and employer demand.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education and workforce development landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate trailer landing gear, and secure loads.
  • Ability to perform frequent climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and extended standing, including crawling under vehicles and handling tools.
  • Ability to work around varying weather, noise, and hazards associated with heavy equipment.
  • Dexterity, coordination, and endurance to demonstrate safe driving techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate TSTC core values with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and community members.
  • Serve as the trainer for advanced training programs across technical, manufacturing, healthcare, and other high-demand sectors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for high-impact training initiatives by developing and delivering customized instruction across diverse industries.
  • Collaborate with employers, community partners, and workforce agencies to align training with current and future skill demands.
  • Support program design, curriculum updates, learner success, and workforce readiness.
  • Develop curriculum for continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects.
  • Coordinate training schedules, instructional materials, and teaching assignments with Accelerated Training Solutions staff, project leads, and managers.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grade, evaluation, and client-facing reporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable credentialing, licensure, and safety standards relevant to the subject matter taught.
  • Collaborate with and mentor adjunct instructors within the same program area by offering guidance and sharing best practices.
  • Remain responsive to industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain long-term program relevance.
  • Work physically on campus at the assigned location as scheduled.
  • Travel occasionally to different office locations and events.
  • Complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 process and present original documents proving identity and authorization to work in the United States if hired.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum development, employer engagement, or leading training teams.
  • Seven years of related experience relevant to the subject needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in non-credit course and curriculum development, including developing and implementing credit, non-credit, and short-term credit programs.
