Requirements
  • At least 4 years of lifecycle, customer relationship management, or growth marketing experience, ideally with a community-driven or consumer product.
  • Deep, hands-on Braze expertise, including building Canvases, writing Liquid, setting up Connected Content, configuring event-triggered journeys, and debugging campaigns.
  • A proven track record of running email, push, and in-app programs that improved activation, retention, and engagement metrics.
  • Strong segmentation and audience-building abilities, with the ability to work directly with product and data teams to define required events and user traits.
  • An experiment-first approach to campaign development and optimization.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with a sophisticated, time-constrained audience.
  • The ability to operate autonomously in a small, fast-moving team.
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end physician lifecycle, including onboarding, activation, engagement, re-engagement, and reactivation.
  • Design and build multichannel campaigns in Braze across email, push, and in-app channels, including triggered journeys, behavioral campaigns, and broadcast sends.

  • Partner with the product team to instrument the events and user properties needed for personalized messaging and to ensure that in-app experiences feel native.
  • Build and run a continuous experimentation roadmap covering subject lines, send times, channel mix, message frequency, and content variants, and translate results into program improvements.
  • Define and report on activation rate, weekly active physicians, question-asking and answering behavior, retention curves, and channel-level performance.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to surface relevant expert insights to physicians at the appropriate time.
  • Maintain deliverability hygiene, suppression logic, and frequency caps.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience marketing to physicians, healthcare professionals, or other expert or credentialed audiences.
  • Experience with community or user-generated-content products where engagement depends on contribution rather than only consumption.
  • Comfort using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.

theMednet provides a specialized online platform that shares expert oncology knowledge sourced from National Cancer Institute Cancer Center Tumor Boards. It targets healthcare professionals and researchers, offering access to curated opinions and treatment insights to support clinical decision-making. Access is via a subscription model and partnerships with medical institutions, enabling members to view tumor board discussions, expert commentary, and research ideas that inform patient care. The platform differentiates itself by focusing on tumor-board-level expertise and formal collaborations with cancer centers, rather than general medical information. Its goal is to improve patient outcomes and accelerate cancer research by giving clinicians and researchers reliable, board-vetted guidance when planning treatment and evaluating new research directions.

  • Oncologists already using Mednet can adopt TrialMatch without workflow disruption, reducing sales friction.

What critics are saying

  • TrialMatch’s $2 million NCI contract expires soon if SWOG validation misses enrollment gains.
  • Free access to oncologists weakens pricing power and delays durable subscription revenue growth.
  • TheMednet’s value depends on physician participation; any engagement drop destroys network effects.

What makes Mednet unique

Mednet launches new clinical trial discovery tool.

Mednet launches new clinical trial discovery tool. Published: 21 August 2026 Mednet has launched TrialMatch, a clinical trial discovery tool designed to help oncologists identify relevant cancer trials in minutes. Developed through a $2 million contract awarded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), TrialMatch brings clinical trial discovery into the physician workflow Clinical trial enrollment is still a challenge in oncology. 20% of trials close prematurely due to insufficient enrollment, while 93% of adults with cancer never participate in a clinical trial. Eligible patients exist, but identifying appropriate trials requires physicians to navigate complex eligibility criteria and trial registries designed for researchers instead of practising physicians. TrialMatch addresses both sides of this challenge: enabling oncologists to find relevant trials for their patients, and helping trials find the physicians already caring for potentially eligible patients. Using Mednet AI, Mednet's clinical assistant, oncologists can describe a patient profile in natural language and identify open trials matched on factors such as diagnosis, stage, biomarkers, and location. Results include match rationales and enrollment links, helping physicians evaluate potential opportunities without leaving their clinical workflow. TrialMatch also operates within Mednet's physician community, where oncologists ask questions, discuss challenging cases, and share clinical experience with peers. There, TrialMatch surfaces enrolling trials within the 22,000+ conversations where physicians are seeking guidance. Nadine Housri, MD, co-founder and chief medical officer of Mednet, said, "Finding the right clinical trial shouldn't require physicians to step away from patient care and search through multiple databases. But discovery is only one part of the challenge. Physicians need easier ways to identify appropriate trials for their patients, and trials need better ways to reach the clinicians caring for those patients. TrialMatch brings both sides together by making clinical trial discovery part of the everyday practice of medicine." Over 45,000 physicians across 23 specialities use Mednet to discuss complex clinical questions, share insights, and learn from each other's experience. In addition to supporting the development of TrialMatch, the NCI SBIR/STTR contract funds a prospective evaluation of the tool in collaboration with the SWOG Cancer Research Network, one of five adult cooperative groups in the NCI-sponsored National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN). The study will examine whether AI-assisted trial matching increases physician awareness of clinical trials and ultimately improves patient enrollment. SWOG has led many of oncology's most influential practice-changing clinical trials over the past several decades, and the collaboration brings SWOG's commitment to scientific rigour and evidence-based evaluation to the development and validation of TrialMatch. TrialMatch is available now at no cost to oncologists through Mednet AI and across Mednet's physician community.
